Introducing Sprint 200 – LINET ’s new stretcher brings innovation to patient transportation

18. 5. 2022

We would like to proudly announce the launch of our premium Emergency and transportation stretcher “Sprint 200”. It is a part of the new generation of stretchers taking patient transportation and patient care to the next level with its innovative solutions.

With Sprint 200, our mission is to significantly reduce MSD’s (musculoskeletal disorders) of the caregivers worldwide, optimizing patient flow and the cost of care. Along with the new product development, we created a new bold compelling tagline for our entire stretcher portfolio: “The stretcher redefined”.

Why the stretcher redefined?

With the new stretcher, we as LINET want to emphasize the innovative part of our new generation of stretchers. Looking at the stretcher market, no significant changes nor innovations were made over the past 10 years. It was time for LINET to start a change and to challenge this status quo.

During the Sprint 200 development program we have deeply analyzed customer needs with input from more than 150 customers in different countries. We have further analyzed our competition and our own stretcher portfolio and examined what incremental improvements can or must be done to build one of the best stretchers.

With Sprint 200, the stretcher redefined, we want to communicate our leading innovations and improvements with 3 strategic key value statements:

  • Ergonomic Drive that Goes the Distance
  • Safety Proven in a Million Care Beds Brought to a Stretcher
  • Leading-edge Design and Materials

The statements are not just empty words. We have tested Sprint 200 to its limits, and we have good reasoning behind every statement.

With the ergonomic drive, we want to emphasize the reduction of initial forces required to push the stretcher to a push of a button in case of motorized castor and by 77% against recommended norm without the motorization1

When it comes to safety, we have utilized 30 years of experience in hospital beds to bring key features to a stretcher. One of the examples is Ergoframe, which reduces peak pressure in pelvic area by 16% and decreases sliding down forces2

Lastly, we wanted to build our stretcher future-proof. The modern design of Sprint 200 should contribute to healing environment and the materials can withstand the highest industry standards. One of the best examples of this approach are our new plastic siderails which can withstand 2,2x more than recommended force and are stronger than steel ones3

We know that it is bold to claim that Sprint 200 is the stretcher redefined. However, we believe that with new innovations, design, and materials this is not just an empty statement.
