LINET UK Supports NHS Trusts for Stop The Pressure Day 2024
11. 11. 2024
Each year, on the third Thursday of November, the European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (EPUAP) organizes International Stop Pressure Ulcer Day, a global event dedicated to raising awareness of pressure injuries. This year’s event, on November 21, 2024, aims to educate the public, healthcare professionals, and policymakers on the importance of preventing these often-avoidable injuries.
The EPUAP offers free resources on its website to encourage participation and highlight the need for proactive pressure care. LINET UK is proud to support this initiative through our ongoing working relationship with many NHS Trusts across the UK, sharing our expertise, knowledge, and educational resources to advance pressure ulcer prevention across healthcare settings, amplifying our ongoing commitment to supporting Pressure Care all year round
As International Stop The Pressure Day 2024 nears, LINET is once again joining forces with hospitals across our working NHS Trust contracts to raise awareness and encourage innovation in pressure ulcer prevention. This initiative, endorsed by the EPUAP, highlights the crucial role of pressure injury prevention and management in healthcare. With research showing that up to 95% of pressure ulcers are preventable, the need for awareness and early intervention has never been greater for both patients and healthcare providers.
LINET’s Year-Round Dedication to Pressure Care
LINET’s commitment to NHS partners goes beyond this annual event. Our Clinical Nurse Advisors, Contract managers and Territory Sales Representatives work closely with our healthcare professionals to reinforce best practices and provide effective pressure care solutions.
