LINET and its partner company Tehnoplus Medical will present a broad spectrum in the segment of obstetrics, gynaecology and paediatrics at the 1st International Perinatal TOTAL Health Congress, which begins on Wednesday, 27 June in Romania in the town of Sinaia. There will be live presentations of the benefits of the sophisticated AVE 2 birthing bed, the GRACIE state-of-the-art gynaecological room and unique TOM 2 children’s bed. At the congress LINET will organise 2 workshops designed especially for midwives. Their themes will be focused on natural births, child delivery techniques and the benefits of natural birth for expectant mothers and obstetrics teams.
“Obstetrics in Romania is a specific area, there is a typically high share of caesarean sections, and the falling birth rate corresponds to the trend in other European countries,” said Adéla Vágnerová, Regional Sales Manager LINET – Central and Eastern Europe. “Our intention is to bring the highest level of quality to local obstetrics and, in accordance with the latest trends, popularise natural birth and its benefits – lower health risks, positive effects for the expectant mother and the newborn child. Our AVE 2 birthing bed creates a perfect environment for obstetrics teams and facilitates care for the expectant mother at all stages of the birth,” added Adéla Vágnerová. Made in LINET care is also intended for all women and expectant mothers thanks to the GRACIE gynaecological room which includes an ergonomically adjustable chair, integrated Full HD colposcope and instrument trolley, all wireless operated. The paediatric portfolio will be presented at the congress by the TOM 2 bed – a designer electrically adjustably children’s bed also suitable for ICU and of course Tom the bear, the bed’s symbol and ambassador of the “Smile with Tom the Bear” campaign whose objective is to improve children’s experience of being hospitalised.
