LINET Group has launched production in Indonesia

Prague, November 6 - LINET Group's first non-European manufacturing plant has been established on the Indonesian island of Java in the Kendal Special Economic Zone. For LINET, it should serve as a gateway to both the promising Indonesian market and a number of other Southeast Asian markets.

Indonesia, the fourth most populous country in the world, has significant potential, which is supported by the government's strategy to promote local healthcare. "Our goal is to be closer to our customers and respond flexibly to local conditions in the region. Deglobalization is a trend we must adapt to, and this step allows us to do just that." says Tomáš Kolář, CEO of LINET Group.

The establishment of the production facility marks a major step in LINET Group’s global development strategy, strengthening its position in Asia. The new plant will produce LINET Group’s premium range of hospital beds, combining European technology, safety features, and ergonomic design that enhance both patient safety and caregiver efficiency. "The Asian market is more important to us than ever before Indonesia is a logical partner for us. Its economy is growing, and the government’s priority is the transformation of national healthcare." adds Petr Foit, Regional Director MEA & APAC of LINET.

"The independence of the medical device industry is the main foundation of national health security and strengthening Indonesia's position in the global market" concludes Steven Lee, CEO of DV Medika.

The new strategic collaboration with DV Medika, LINET’s long-term business partner since 2012, will allow the Group to better serve customers across Southeast Asia, increase production flexibility, and shorten delivery times. By integrating local manufacturing expertise with LINET Group’s advanced technological standards, both companies aim to ensure that hospitals throughout the region have access to innovative and reliable care solutions.

“By establishing production in Indonesia, we are contributing to the creation of a sustainable healthcare ecosystem in Asia and ensuring that LINET Group’s technology and innovation are provided fast and in the highest quality to the people who need it.” states Tomas Kolar.
