Shaping a New Chapter in Women’s Health: LINET at TEDxPragueWomen 2025
27. 1. 2026
In November 2025, LINET partnered with TEDxPragueWomen, an independently organized TED event dedicated to amplifying women’s voices and advancing meaningful societal change. The 2025 edition, held under the theme “A New Chapter,” focused on transition, courage, and progress - bringing together clinicians, innovators, researchers, and leaders working to redefine the future of healthcare and beyond.
Conversations That Challenged the Status Quo
Throughout the event, speakers shared powerful insights into how healthcare systems can evolve when women’s needs are placed at the centre of decision-making. In the context of maternity care, discussions highlighted the importance of autonomy, mobility, dignity, and trust during childbirth - factors proven to influence both clinical outcomes and lived experience.

Clinicians demonstrated how small but intentional changes in care environments and workflows could significantly improve childbirth experiences for women, while also supporting the professionals who care for them. The message was clear: empowering women during labor is not only a matter of comfort - it is a matter of quality, safety, and respect.
Innovation That Supports Women and Clinicians Alike
As a partner of TEDxPragueWomen 2025, LINET presented two obstetrics solutions developed to support modern, woman-centred childbirth while addressing the practical needs of clinical teams.
AVE 2 birthing bed was showcased as a solution designed to support physiological birth positions and freedom of movement, enabling women to remain active participants in their labor. At the same time, its design helped clinicians maintain ergonomic working conditions and efficient workflows throughout the birthing process.
Vibwife mobility system complemented this approach by encouraging movement and upright positioning during labor. By supporting mobility, comfort, and confidence, Vibwife helped women feel more in control of their bodies, while allowing caregivers to support labor progression in a natural and clinically responsible way.

Together, these solutions reflected a shared philosophy: technology should adapt to women - not require women to adapt to technology.
Partnership Built on Shared Values
The partnership between LINET and TEDxPragueWomen was grounded in a shared belief that progress in women’s health begins with listening, collaboration, and evidence-based innovation. Beyond showcasing technology, the collaboration created space for meaningful dialogue between clinicians, innovators, and advocates who are shaping the future of maternity care.
What resonated most strongly throughout the event was not a single product or concept, but a unifying principle:
when women feel supported, respected, and empowered, outcomes improve - for mothers, newborns, and the healthcare professionals who care for them.

LINET remains committed to advancing maternity care through solutions that combine clinical expertise, human empathy, and purposeful design.
