LINET introduces the integrated mattress OptiCareX for intensive care with Optimal Immersion system which provides patients with excellent pressure injury prevention and pressure relief.
Optimal Immersion technology
Fully integrated system
Main benefits of OptiCare X
Optimal Immersion is designed to provides the optimal pressure redistribution possible without a risk of bottoming out.
Peak pressures reduce as the patient becomes more immersed and enveloped into the mattress.
At some point the patient will reach an optimal point where peak pressures are minimized.
Sophisticated 4 modes
The system regularly checks and adjusts the mattress to ensure the air level within the mattress remains optimal.
Uses a higher level of air than other therapeutic modes to provide a balance between pressure redistribution and stability for patients being nursed in a prone positions (prone positioning support recommended).
Fills the mattress with air to create a very stable base for sliding transfers, turning patients and certain medical procedures. Automatic stop of this mode after 30 mins, if the time is not extended.
Allows the mattress to be ‚stepped down‘ to a lower level of immersion to aid Comfort and independent movement for more mobile patients.
Microclimate management (MCM)
Opticare X helps to prevent the build up of heat that can naturally result from lying on a mattress. This is achieved through the use of adjustable airflow underneath the mattress. This helps to remove a build up of moisture away from the patient by creating the conditions for moisture to escape through the cover fabric.
MCM provided by Opticare X can be optimised with use in conjunction with the Elite Cover, or Endurance in USA.
Heel zone, Automatic foot extention
The heel section has a 7-degree slope and is lined with a softer foam that gives the patient above-standard comfort.
The heel section of the mattress can be automatically adjusted when the bed frame is extended.
The latest Dartex® Zoned Coating by Trelleborg technology provides different fabric functionality in the sides versus the centre of the cover.
Quick and effective CPR
The mattress can be deflated by simply pressing the electronic CPR button on the control panel integrated into the bed. Alternatively, it can be manually deflated through a mechanism directly on the mattress. Following deflation, the patient lies on a firm mattress platform, which facilitates effective resuscitation techniques.
After sixty minutes of deflation, the mattress will automatically return to the optimal pressure distribution mode or to the maximum inflation mode, thereby limiting any factors that may have an adverse impact on the prevention or treatment of pressure ulcers.
OptiCare X mattress is compatible with Multicare bed. The controls for both the mattress and bed are integrated into a single control panel built into the bed.
The customisable user interface provides the clinical staff with the option to modify the controls on the interface and allows control of only the required features.
The upper section of the cover consists of highly moisture and vapour permeable (MVP) two-way stretch material.
A full 360-degree zip to allow easy removal for cleaning or replacement.
The zip is covered by a waterproof flap to protect the mattress against fluid ingress.
