In a world premiere, during the Arab Health 2023 fair, the company LINET presented Essenza, a new range of medical beds, and under this brand is starting a new era in its product scheme. "Given the interest, number, and structure of the fair's visitors, we could not have found a better timing and environment for this opportunity," said Petr Foit, Global Export Sales Director. "Thus, we were able to show the innovative Essenza concept and the first models live to our partners and customers not only from the countries served by our Middle East & Africa representative office here, but also to partners and customers from India, Southeast Asia, Europe, and even Latin America," explained Petr Foit. Almost 300 guests attended the official launch ceremony on Wednesday, February 2, 2023, in the presence of the Czech ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Jiri Slavík.

 

Beds with the Essenza label are intended especially for acute care environments, now the Essenza 300 series is coming to the market, thanks to which lateral tilt will be available to nurses/caregivers in a wide range of care. This function reduces the physical effort of nurses in a completely revolutionary way and has so far been available mainly in the ICU environment. In addition to a number of innovations and benefits, Essenza has the advantage of a unified design platform enabling efficient maintenance and service. 

 

"We believe that the new product line, thanks to its high variability of configurations, will expand our possibility to succeed in regions with advanced healthcare systems, while at the same time, it will be available to develop countries demanding the best performance/price ratio," said Jitka Stranska, Managing Director Middle East&Africa. With the new Essenza, LINET is also strengthening its Smart Care portfolio. "In countries such as Qatar, the UAE, or Saudi Arabia, smart technologies are already an essential part of healthcare. Thanks to our applications focused on, for example, patient safety, the localization of beds, or the evaluation of data from sensors monitoring the status of beds, including its safety functions (for example, the position of side rails or the presence of a patient on the bed), we can continue to penetrate the Intelligent Health segment," added Jitka Stranska.

 

This is also why LINET became a platinum sponsor of the Intelligent Health Pavilion as part of Arab Health this year, where it presented beds equipped with smart applications as part of integrated exhibitions. The ED room was equipped with two Essenza beds with the SafeSense3 system in combination with a Sprint 200, a stretcher with a motorized drive, and newly also integrated scales. The Multicare X bed with integrated SafetyPort technology dominated the ICU room. LINET experts also had the opportunity to present LINET technology applications in several speaking slots during the conference program of the Intelligent Health Pavilion.
