 OBJECTIVE: LUNGS AND HEART

 
Cardiac Chair Position of Eleganza 3XC optimizes lungs and heart performance and helps to prevent pulmonary complications in immobile and ventilated patients.

Nosocomial pneumonia and atelectasis can be detected in time by sophisticated in-bed X - ray lung examination. The X ray cassette holder is inserted from the side of the bed under the backrest without any dangerous and problematic patient manual handling.

The Eleganza 3XC bed enables to perform certain C-arm assisted cardiosurgical operations directly in the bed. Such procedures include the introduction of temporary intracardiac cardiostimulation, the insertion of catheters into the pulmonary artery for measuring hemodynamic parameters, etc.

  OBJECTIVE: FALL PROTECTION

The revolutionary siderail concept optimises fall prevention depending on the patient’s individual risks and condition. The siderail system of the Eleganza 3XC consists of three sections – the head siderail, central siderail and the optional Eleganza Protector® siderail allocated at the foot end of the bed.

OBJECTIVE: PRESSURE ULCER PREVENTION

The unique Ergoframe® system reduces the pressure applied on the pelvic area tissue during positioning and minimises friction between the skin on the patient’s back and the mattress. The siderail construction (height) allows the application of most therapeutic mattresses.

 OBJECTIVE: RECOVERY

The negative consequences of the immobilisation syndrome can be eliminated by active patient mobilisation using the mobilift handles and mobilising siderails. The patient can be mobilised to an adequate degree, safely and gently. Moreover the mobilisation system signifi cantly eases the work of nurses and healthcare staff.
