Latera Acute, Latera Care - positionable beds with lateral tilt

Linet is going to launch 2 new models of electrically adjustable beds with both sided lateral tilt +/-15° for acute and long term care:
- Latera Acute – for the use in acute hospital wards
- Latera Care – for the use in long term care hospital wards, nursing homes, social facilities and home care
Clinical benefits of them will be effective especially during routine nursing care of immobile patients or clients.
Numerous daily nursing activities in hospitals and nursing homes bring physically demanding manipulation with partially or fully immobile patient or client.
Latera beds make these activities easier and safer for nurses, because there are three essential effects in all described lateral tilt assisted procedures:
- Saving of energy for patient side rotation by o 30% compared to bed without al lateral tilt
- 10 times lower force necessary for patient/client rotation compared to bed without a lateral tilt
- Saving time (depending on the type of performed activity) by up to 20%
