Linet, one of the world’s leading healthcare technology producers, has won a unique contract in South America. This spring it will supply 2 500 positionable beds to the most populous country in South America, Brazil. In terms of volume this is the second-largest contract in the Czech company’s twenty-year history. Its largest ever contract was 4 500 beds for Venezuela in 2006.

LINET Marketing Director Tomáš Kolář has been appointed the head of the Czech Association of Medical Device Suppliers – CzechMed. LINET has been a member of this organisation since 2006 and Tomáš Kolář has been representing the company at CzechMed  as one of its most active members.
There are currently 30 companies in CzechMed, including some of the most important players in the field of healthcare equipment in the Czech Republic, such as B Braun Medical, Hartman – Rico, Johnson & Johnson and others.

LINET is among the most admired companies in the Czech Republic according to a ranking of the "100 most admired companies in the Czech Republic". In the midst of tight competition, LINET came out in 4th place, just behind the winner, car manufacturer Škoda Auto, along with energy giant ČEZ and Kofola, a producer of non-alcoholic beverages.

LINET, one of the world's leading manufacturers of healthcare equipment, has strengthened its brand's position in Southern Europe, acquiring an enormous contract there in the process. It will supply 1 300 adjustable beds for nearly EUR 1.6 million to the urban area of Spain's capital, Madrid. The Spanish company Desan Flex, in which LINET has a 25 % share, has been representing the Czech manufacturer on the Iberian Peninsula and the neighbouring islands for seven years now. At the end of last year the company changed its name to Desan Flex-LINET, expressing its tighter connection with the Czech corporation whose products it sells throughout Spain.

Every year LINET kicks off the international exhibition season in Dubai, United Arab Emirates at the Arab Health exhibition. Arab Health, which takes place from 25 to 28 January, is not only a key trade fair for the Middle East, but also for other Asian countries as well as Africa. LINET will be presenting its Eleganza Smart, Eleganza 3XC, Eleganza 3, Strecher Sprint and Latera Care products. All this, along with helpful staff, will be found at booth 2J50.
