LINET enters Indian market
21st December 2011 Dordrecht (NLD) / Slaný (CZE) – LINET Group SE, Europe’s largest hospital bed manufacturer, signed a contract of cooperation with Godrej Interio, leading Indian furniture producer. Thanks to the partnership Godrej Interio will become the exclusive supplier of LINET’s products and services to the Indian market while both companies will cooperate on the development of new healthcare products for the local market.
„We are currently facing decreasing demand for sophisticated hospital beds in Europe because of the current financial crisis. One of LINET Group’s priorities is to actively search for opportunities in developing markets where demand for innovative products is rising. In India, we have found a strong and dependable partner and we have gained access to a market where approximately 100,000 hospital beds are sold annually. In five years’ time we plan on selling thousands of beds in India,“ says Jan Horák, member of the executive committee of LINET Group SE responsible for business activities. 
    
Godrej Interio currently offers an extensive line of products from hospital beds to small furniture and home accessories. Thanks to the partnership with LINET Group, customers will have access to a vast and balanced portfolio of products covering a broad range of applications and budgets from simple beds to hi-tech products aimed at intensive care units.
LINET products will be available on the Indian market from April 2012.
