Hopital Expo 2010: World premiere for new Multicare
The French Hopital Expo trade fair exhibiting health-care technology is one of the largest of its kind in France. It is always held biannually in May; in the intervening years, a similar exhibition concerned with the care services sector is held.
LINET is preparing several surprises for this year’s Hopital Expo. The most striking is the new design of the stand, based on an attractive flower motif. Inside, visitors can inspect the first showing of a new model of the Multicare resuscitation bed. “Many people visited our stand and we were also pleased by the favourable reaction to the new Multicare bed,” stated Pavel Pospíšil, the product manager of LINET. In addition to new features, other products were also exhibited in the stand – the Eleganza and Latera beds, the Virtuoso active mattress and many other products. Great interest was expressed, amongst other things, in the Eleganza Smart bed with special siderails designed for pediatric ward. French hospitals have strict requirements on special beds for children and young people. The safety of small patients is a highly discussed subject there, mainly because of the tragic case of a little boy who was trapped between the sides of a bed for adults and died. The LINET ceremonial evening was held at the end of the trade fair at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Paris. LINET invited important customers and representatives of the private and public French health-care sector to the event. The evening in the palace with a view of the Eiffel Tower was enlivened by several professional presentations, a cultural program by the Aries Czech musical group and an informal social gathering.(15.6.2010)
