Linet Comfort Days successful for the third year running
The third annual event of Linet Comfort Days designed above all for czech and Linet’s foreign partners has come to an end. Linet welcomed several dozen guests during the three-day June event from 15 different countries for which a varied programme was organised.
Its main item was the traditional international conference which was held at the Hotel Hejtmanský Dvůr near Linet’s seat. This year the topic was patient mobilisation and safety. Foreign speakers presented topics to their colleagues concerning falls, the creation of new standards for hospital beds, safe mobilisation and an effective system for the prevention of pressure sores and specific features in individual countries. Linet’s marketing director Tomáš Kolář was the speaker for the company. He presented the new Eleganza 3 bed and emphasized the safety parameters of the new bed of this popular range which meet the strict new norms about to be introduced. In the next block of his presentation he talked about the new partnership Internet portal designed for supporting the commercial activities of Linet’s co-workers abroad, and also mentioned the new style of corporate presentation which is binding not only for workers at Linet in the Czech Republic, but also for its foreign subsidiaries.
The climax of the conference was the announcement of the Partner of the Year title. This again went to southern Europe being awarded to the Spanish partner Desan Flex, which managed to surpass its excellent results of last year including a highly successful media presentation. The biggest order was awarded this year for the first time. This trophy was deservedly awarded to the Saudi Arabian company Salehiya for its January success – the order of 1 195 beds to the local ministry of health.
It was not just a specialised programme that had been organised for the invited guests. The day before the conference guests could participate in a golf tournament and a golf academy was organised for beginners. An evening visit to the historic centre of Prague which included a concert and a romantic cruise on the River Vltava impressed all the visitors. The busy conference day, was interrupted by a short folklore performance by the Studánka ensemble.
