Linet is the seventh most admired company in the Czech Republic

The company Linet, a leading world producer of medical technology, is one of the most admired companies in the Czech Republic. This was shown in the “100 admired companies in the Czech Republic” ranking in which Linet was placed in 7th position. The ranking was announced by the Czech Top 100 association and its winner was the power company ČEZ followed by the car plant Škoda and the drinks company Kofola.
“I consider our position to be a form of recognition for the work of all the people at Linet and I am pleased to know that our economic growth is also positively regarded by people from our branch and by the public,” stated Zbyněk Frolík, Linet’s managing director. The ranking is compiled every year based on assessments made by managers, analysts, representatives of branch associations, unions and professional organisations. The criteria judged are not only the economic indicators but mainly the way how a company presents itself on the outside and how it looks after its own employees. Linet is the leader on the Czech market and ranks among the five biggest companies in the world in the field of hospital beds. It is one of the most innovative and dynamic companies in this field. In the 2006/07 business year Linet exported 86 % of its production to 75 countries. Its biggest customers are the European Union countries. The company’s turnover reached a total of 1.66 billion Czech crowns in that business year. Annually over 33 thousand beds are produced at Linet in Želevčice u Slaného as well as a broad range of mattresses, bedside cabinets and medical furniture.
