By so doing, it has joined the ranks of respected suppliers to this largest of health care technology purchasing organizations in the United States, which works with over 65,000 medical institutions and last year assisted in purchases totaling 40 billion dollars.

LINET Scholaris showcases e-learning courses for nurses
LINET spol. s r. o., leading manufacturer of hospital and residential care beds, opened its gates for medical and social care professionals. The LINET Scholaris training centre held an open day, presenting its recently developed e-learning programme and offering lectures and workshops. Among the latest medical technologies and equipment, visitors had the opportunity to use a unique suit simulating the limited mobility of elderly patients.

19th March 2012 – LINET Group SE holding, leading European manufacturer of hospital beds, received an award for the best comprehensive solution in intensive care at the SALMED trade show. The company received recognition for its Multicare bed interconnected with the LINIS information system.

LINET Group equipped two Russian hospitals
27th February 2012 – Holding company LINET Group SE, Europe’s leading manufacturer of hospital beds, finalized supplying 404 beds to hospitals in Perm and Kaliningrad. The two institutions received identical orders of 202 beds including 37 sophisticated beds for intensive care units, Eleganza 3XC, and 19 Precioso active mattresses. The contract, which LINET won in summer 2011, was worth 1.6 million Euros.

Sad News for LINET Group
It is with genuine sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Bernd W. Weber, who died on 4 February 2012 at the age of 55 after a brief, yet serious, illness. Mr. Weber was the longstanding managing director of our affiliate, wissner-bosserhoff, and German partner representative within LINET. The funeral service, held on 8 February in the German town of Sulzfeld, was attended not only by Mr. Weber’s closest relatives, but also by a number of his friends and colleagues from LINET and wissner-bosserhoff.
