The international project Mobility, the aim of which is an innovation in the method of lifelong education of nurses, received a large helping of inspiration when the most recent meeting of the international working group focussing on the practical teaching of clinical skills was held in the unique training centre of Sweden’s Karolinksa University Hospital. The visit enabled the Mobility team to find out about one of the current trends in the present education of medical professions – the practising of skills using realistic simulations of individual acts associated with the provision of healthcare.

In the month of March, the LINET primary school support project, known as Introduction to the World of Work, received a prestigious Czech award in the field of HR. In the HREA – Excellence Award competition, the project prevailed in the “house award” category, which is decided by competition participants, and placed among the top three in the Czech Republic. LINET wants to approach other companies and partners abroad with its successful project.
In January LINET Americas reached an agreement with Premier Healthcare Alliance to become an approved supplier of hospital beds and complementary support surfaces to its 2,700 acute care facilities in the USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
