Jiří Španihel, academic sculptor, industrial designer
A graduate of Prague’s Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in the field of machine and instrument design, he worked as designer at the Tatra Kopřivnice automotive works in the years 1977 to 1990. In 1991 he founded his own designer studio. He has created successful designs in the fields of transport, healthcare and sanitation technology.
